I just wanna remind you There's no more to your life. And everything that you'll ever do Is a pointless exercise. No plans of validity for the future can be made And then we started to believe... that... The whole world is an artifact And we have to get back at nature But we forget we're not birds who perch on a tree We are the leaves! I'm here to help you understand the fundamentals but it's mental so it cannot be show Opposites attract In fact, they're rarely on their own Now that we've buried our finest virtues We say it's wrong to dig up bones Am I rooted to all of this? Am I rooted to all of this? If this is all you've ever wanted This is all you'll ever need. If this is all you've ever wanted This is all you'll ever need. If you hold on too tight To the railing When you're failing You might lose your grip and Hold on too tight to the railing When you're failing You might lose your grip and slip.

Why'd you have to go and throw it all away? Old and weary No friends to be friends with no more. You will escape from now, my love. And we can find our cloud above. Sacred vows in this town And you can hang your coat and happily drown. Wasting time. I feel in love with the concept And I could never fall in love again Your room was full of itself now But it never learned to love itself somehow. In my dreams, there are homeless people running this scene. In my life we're just steam engines trying to let off some steam. I met a man named Giuseppe He was a very good friend he never said a single word against me. We fished for brim in the moonlight And then we'd share our childhood memories and push them back into the sea. In my dreams, there are homeless people running this scene. In my life we're just steam engines trying to let off some steam. Just being all alone in my thoughts now It's been so long since I've been taught now How to be How to be It's been so long since I've been taught now Taught now.

Poison Ivy 02:59
I would be your friend if I could. (rap) Watch me turning in As it burns my skin Haven’t really seen, but we’ve heard of him That's a deaf mute from a test tube Baby born premature, staying in the guest room And later on it becomes your friend Wondering what you've gone and done again Repeat the question, can you come again? The call of wilderbeasts is asking you to run with them It’s all worthless in the fucking end. Now the pitter patter Of the people sitting backwards Got us wondering if it didn't matter Kitty cats and silly rappers, slick with madness Gonna give the package Cover up the missing factor It was tragic. Eating anything it if its dipped in batter To get a little fatter Sick of Maccas Stricken by a bit of magic Little boxes made of ticky tacky Stop believing all the jibber jabber 'Cause it's true Everything that you do Is imperfect in a way that's simply isn't you Under this poison ivy household Burning the furnace of my dreams I was giving candy to a stranger And it's all exactly as it seems I share my hand with my body You are my hand and my body. Under this poison Ivy household All eyes on you In my room All eyes on you In my room

We thought we'd try something new, so we got together for a long weekend at a ranch out in Murrumbateman and self-produced this little 3 track project. Our writing and recording style was totally different to all our other records and demos but extremely collaborative. We recorded onto Ableton and used a bunch of digital drum samples, as well as recorded our own live drums and sampled them in. We hope you enjoy it.

Thanks to Ben D, Tony, Jennie, L.A Noire, Ruby and her wonderful butter beer, Putri and the McMurray clan, Alexandra Hoss and lastly thanks to Digby for telling us we could definitely borrow his amp two days before and then not letting us. Classic Digby!
